Dr Abbas graduated from King Edward Medical College in 2006. AMC training was completed from Central & Northern Adelaide Health Network in 2010. He completed Basic Physician training RACP (Royal Australasian College of Physicians) in Adult Medicine in 2013. He has worked in various Metro & regional hospitals across Australia & got extensive experience in General medicine, Aged care & geriatrics, Palliative care, Cardiology, Respiratory & Sleep medicine, Emergency medicine & General Practice.

Dr Steptoe graduated from Notre Dame University, WA in 2009. Dr Dayman comes from a background in genetics and specialised forensics, Dr Steptoe has worked with multiple agencies around the world as a forensic DNA & bone expert before undertaking further medical training in Australia. Although he spent a number of years working as a doctor in various emergency and surgical rotations around Australia, Dr Steptoe now lives locally on a rural property. He was born and bred in the country and has a lifelong passion for the Australian Outback and respects the “wonderful people that live there”. Dr Steptoe has made a firm commitment to help the local people of our area however he can, and brings to our community a much needed special interest in skin cancer surgery
Dr Dolly is currently training to achieve Royal Australian College of General Practitioner’s Fellowship.
Prior to taking up her GP training, she gained her medical, surgical, paediatric and Emergency medicine training at various Brisbane hospitals including Gold Coast University Hospital, Sunshine Coast University Private Hospital, Ipswich Hospital and The Prince Charles Hospital.
Dr Dolly then worked as a rural GP based at Berri (South Australia) and at more recently at Jimboomba.
Dr Dolly’s special interest lies in Paediatrics and she has completed a diploma in child health. She also has passion for women’s health and enjoy men’s health.
In her time off from work she enjoys family time, soft music, gardening and yoga.

Dr Ravi joins us from the UK with over 13 years of experience in the field of clinical medicine under his belt.Dr Ravi began his medical career in the UK and has since accumulated experience in Acute Medicine, Aged Care, Paediatrics, Women's Health, and Accident and Emergency Medicine. Dr Ravi speaks fluent English and Telugu.
Dr Chungath Juni Jobson (Juni) completed his MBBS from India 1995 then went on to have a very diverse career. His first three years as a doctor spent working in the niche field of leprosy (Hansen’s Disease), he underwent WHO training in dermatology and ophthalmology related to Hansen’s Disease. Then he went on to do a Fellowship in Accident and Emergency Medicine and a Master’s in general surgery at the world-renowned Christian Medical College Hospital Vellore. While working here, he was awarded a visiting Scholarship to Stanford University Medical Centre in California USA and International College of Surgeon in Chicago USA . After returning from the USA, he worked as a General Surgeon in rural India for 4 years. He calls himself “a very general surgeon” due to the shear variety of things he had to do in rural India. He has travelled extensively. The family relocated to Australia in 2008.
He worked as a Registrar in Emergency Medicine/Psychiatry and Surgery at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital Brisbane and then as a Senior Medical Officer in Emergency Department in various hospital in SE Queensland. Currently, he is a Dual trainee with the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine and Australasian College of Emergency Medicine. He has worked for Life Flight (formerly Care flight) and Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) . Over the next few years, he plans to transition to full-time General Practice. His interests include minor procedures, emergencies, and skin cancer. Besides this, he is interested in Mental Health and whole-person care.
His other passion are teaching, bike riding and going for long walks in the Australian bush!

Dr Justin Wong graduated from the University of Queensland in 2011. He gained extensive hospital experience at the Rockhampton Base and Gold Coast University hospitals prior to his journey into General Practice. He has completed the RACGP examinations and is on track to obtain fellowship (FRACGP). Justin is a native of Canada and speaks fluent English as well as Cantonese. Prior to medicine, he was an electrical and computer engineer and worked on the oilsands of Northern Canada and the Scottish deepwater Schiehallion oilfields.

Dr. Lawlor entered medical school having completed a PhD in physical organic chemistry in University College Dublin. He graduated, with honours, from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland graduate entry medical school in 2012. Following graduation, he completed terms in general surgery, vascular surgery, general medicine, and geriatric medicine. He then spent several years in Ireland working in the areas of intensive care medicine, anaesthesia, cardiothoracic anaesthesia and cardiothoracic intensive care. He then moved to Sydney Adventist Hospital intensive care unit where he worked in intensive care medicine for 18 months before moving to Gold Coast and completing a further 18 months of anaesthesia work.
He has experience in public and private healthcare systems both in Australia and Ireland. Currently he is pursuing fellowships with both the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine and the Skin Cancer College of Australasia. In addition, he is a qualified general practice anaesthesia practitioner with the joint Consultative Committee on Anaesthesia (JCCA).

Laura Gardner is a clinical psychologist registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency APRHA and a Member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) College of Clinical Psychologists. Laura has a Master of Clinical Psychology (graduated in 2006) as well as a Graduate Diploma in Child Psychotherapy. Laura has worked in community health settings and has been in private practice since 2008. Special interests include working with children, as well as anxiety and trauma recovery for adults.
Laura Gardner is Beaudesert Family Practice’s visiting psychologist. Laura can assist with a wide range of issues including: Depression and Anxiety, Phobias, Grief and Loss, Substance Abuse, Physical, Mental and Sexual Abuse Recovery, Trauma, Parenting Issues, Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties in Young People, General Mental Health.
Laura’s treatment approach includes: Cognitive behavioural therapy, mindfulness training, interpersonal therapy as well as assertiveness skill training, relaxation, stress and anger management, and communication skills.

Aleksa has completed his studies in Nutrition and Dietetics (graduating with honours) and has worked closely with a wide variety of clients across all age groups. His speciality areas include: weight loss, chronic disease management (such as diabetes and cardiovascular disease), muscle mass building, IBS management, and gut health. Aleksa also has a keen interest in sports nutrition and is working towards completing additional qualifications to become an Accredited Sports Dietitian.
